| Club History and description |
Rotary Club of Bharuch came into existence on 19th of June 1944.
The most significant achievement during the 1944-1984 era was the establishment of the ROTARY YOUTH CENTER in 1962, with the sole purpose of promoting youth activities. Since 1984, the club has been blessed to have been a pioneer nodal agency devoting Permanent Projects to the tune of 5 to 6 crores of rupees to the community including a crematorium, toilet blocks, a library, 118 low cost shelters, 36 play schools and underground drainage. |

| SHROFF PUNAMCHAND DEVCHAND ROTARY DIAGNOSTIC CENTER |
We have embarked upon a the project of creating a DIAGNOSTIC CENTER at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.5 crore at a 5000 sq feet premises provided to us by the ‘Sewashram Hospital, a charitable trust. It shall provide diagnostic services to the common public on NO PROFIT NO LOSS basis. The Diagnostic Center shall include a X Ray Machine, Sonography Machine, Mamography Machine & a Colour Doppler Machine a clinical laboratory and Blood Cell Counter machine. |

| PAY & USE REST ROOMS |
Bharuch has a typical hill station type of topography, with innumerable highs & lows, making it vulnerable to improper disposal of sewage and other wastes. Bearing this in mind this project was conceived in 1996 and till today four such blocks have been dedicated to the community at a total cost of approximately Rs. 38 lakhs. Separate sections for male and female have been provided with urinal, WC, wash rooms & lockers for daily commuters. |
